SHOEBOX FLOAT

A
shoebox float is a small replica of any large
float that might appear in a parade. It is
made using a shoe or boot box as the base and
decorated according to a given
theme.
Rules:

One entry per
exhibitor. Exhibitor must be an OLEY FAIR are resident (see page 10, rule 3 of Oley Valley Community Fair Book). |

The
theme is An All Star Celebration. |
| 3. |
Size
requirement - The maximum shoe box size is 10" x
16". |
| 4. |
Material requirements - Grab your glue,
scissors, nails, candy - anything you need to
make your float a winner. Natural
materials are encouraged although any material
can be used to cover the float. |

Judging
will be based on use of the theme, creativity,
neatness, and materials used. |
| 6. |
Enter floats Monday or Tuesday 4-8
p.m. in the Oley Valley Fair Centre. Entries may be removed at 9:30 p.m.
